HOW TO USE

  • Wet the bar, rub between hands and transfer lather to hair or rub the bar directly on hair.
  • Work lather through hair then rinse. Repeat if necessary.
  • For a longer lasting bar, store away from the stream of water.
  • Allow it to dry between washes on a draining dish such as our Reclaimed Wood Soap Dish.
  • Only store in travel tins once the bar is dry.

When the bar gets to be very small you can wet it and press into your replacement bar or use with our Sisal Soap Bag to cleanse and exfoliate your body.

Alright, let’s start with background info. My hair, for reference, is type 2A, greasy scalp, dry ends, low porosity hair. My hair is not coloured and I do not have any chemical treatments on my hair. I am 36 and the grey is coming in fast and furious, and yup, it’s coarse. It is also worth mentioning that I live in an area with the hardest possible water, limestone deposits everywhere. Why does this matter, oh, it matters huge because it makes the hair frizzy and dry.
I have tried at least 10-12 different shampoo bars and they all ended up leaving my hair either too oily, too dry, gummy, sticky, stinky (too much perfume) or insanely itchy.
This shampoo bar is by far, the best out there. I have no incentives to say this, it literally is the best, especially if your hair type is similar to mine and you live in an area with hard water.
My hair feels soft, but not oily, my ends moisturized but not stuck together, my scalp no longer itches and I love the very light scent this bar has. Also, l recently developed a severe allergy to rose oil, which seems to be in everything these days, thankfully this bar does not contain rose oil. Not only will I use this bar until it is completely gone, I will also be repurchasing in the future. Last, I love the face wash sample I received in my order. I plan on ordering more of that too.
