Description: A perennial herb with underground runners which make it easy to propagate. Peppermint, which has several different species, is the most common of the mints as it is highly valued for its therapeutic properties.

Characteristics: Peppermint oil is colourless to pale yellow and has a piercing grassy-menthol refreshing odour with a deep balsamic undertone.

Safety: Avoid use during pregnancy. For external use only. Should be diluted prior to skin application. Avoid contact with eyes and mouth. May cause skin irritation for some individuals, a skin patch test is recommended prior to use. Consult your healthcare professional before using essential oils during pregnancy.

HOW TO USE

Diffuse: Add 5-8 drops to your favourite diffuser to infuse your space with an uplifting aroma.

Inhalation: Place a drop on your palms, rub them together, and breathe deeply.

Topical Application: Dilute with a carrier oil and apply to temples or rub into muscles.

PACKAGING/MATERIALS

We use a UV protected white glass for this product to help prevent photodegradation of the natural ingredients.

RECYCLE: The glass bottle and plastic cap are recyclable.

REUSE: The glass dropper bottle is medical grade, lead free and may be reused many times. To clean the bottle, shake with detergent and rinse clean. Prior to reuse, rinse with alcohol to sanitize.

RECOMMENDED FOR

This essential oil is ideal for promoting mental clarity and concentration. It is also cooling and when diluted can provide relief from headaches and muscle pain.
