US Shipping Update

We’re pleased to announce that US shipping has resumed.  We are trialling a new system in the hopes that we can continue to serve our cherished US customers.  To help reduce unexpected fees, we are now sending shipments with duties and taxes prepaid. 

Delivery times are longer than usual as the parcels are sent to a central US address then distributed to a courier or USPS for last mile delivery.

Shipping Policy Changes

  • Free Shipping: Now available on orders over $99 USD.
  • Flat Rate Shipping: Increased to $12.99 USD for orders under the free shipping threshold to help cover additional processing costs.
  • Packaging:  We are unable to ship our products package-free to the US.  All solid products will arrive with outer packaging as the country of origin is required to be declared on each item crossing the border.
If we are unable to ship to the address provided for any reason, we will contact you to make alternate arrangements.

Please note:  We have limited our US catalog to only the products we manufacture in house at this time and have unfortunately removed any products containing aluminum as these are subject to higher tariffs.  For our products normally packaged in aluminum (Facial Cleansing Powder + Dry Shampoo), we recommend purchasing the compostable refill packets as an alternative.

Question: How does shipping to the United States work now?
Answer:  For our US customers, we now send shipments with broker fees, duties and taxes prepaid. This helps reduce unexpected fees at delivery and makes your total cost more predictable at checkout.
Because parcels are first sent to a central US address and then handed off to a courier or USPS for last‑mile delivery, shipping times may be longer than usual.
Question: What are your US shipping rates?
Answer:
  • Free shipping on US orders over $99 USD
  • Flat rate shipping of $12.99 USD on orders under the free shipping threshold
These rates help cover additional cross‑border processing and handling costs.
Question: Why do my solid products arrive with outer packaging?
Answer:  For US orders, we’re currently unable to ship products package‑free. Import regulations require the country of origin to be clearly declared on each item crossing the border, so all solid products will arrive with outer packaging. We still prioritize low‑waste, recyclable and compostable materials wherever possible.
Question: Why can’t I order some products to the US anymore?
Answer:  At the moment, our US catalogue is limited to products we manufacture in‑house. We’ve also removed products in aluminium packaging from US shipping, as these are subject to higher tariffs.
If you’re looking for our Facial Cleansing Powder or Dry Shampoo, we recommend choosing the compostable refill packets as a lower‑waste, tariff‑friendly alternative.
