RECYCLING PROGRAM

Beauty and personal care packaging is often very tough to recycle.  They are usually made up of mixed materials and have multiple moving parts.  They are also difficult to get clean enough to be accepted in municipal recycling programs.  Unfortunately, the majority ends up in a landfill.

We have teamed up with TerraCycle Canada to make recycling these products easier on you and on the planet.

Simply bring your used personal care containers into our boutique and pop them in the Zero Waste Box.  Any brand is accepted as long as the bottles/jars are empty and the best part is there is no need to clean them first!  

Once our Zero Waste Box is full, we ship it off to TerraCycle who sorts, cleans and preps the materials, selling the ready-to-use recycled components to manufacturing companies who then produce the end product to complete the recycling journey.  We purchase a new box to fill and keep on doing our part, helping divert waste while contributing to a circular economy!
