Essential Oil Components

Health Canada regulations require certain naturally occurring components of essential oils to be listed individually on an ingredient label when present above specific thresholds. These components are part of the essential oil itself, but are disclosed separately to help customers identify potential allergens.

You may see ingredients such as limonene, linalool, or citral, etc. listed - these are not added separately, but are naturally occurring aromatic compounds found within the essential oils we use.
